~ a placeholder, to start the process. Not bad for 5 days work. EDVA needs to be cleared out, and it's already started w/Comey's son-in-law & Beikert out. Superseding indictments to follow as Halligan gets control of the office. Plus other folks are facing indictments. The dam has burst. ~

I’ll not hold my breath. Besides any trial’s in DC, right?

The trial is in EDVA which is much better, but there are many challenges ahead

But it's a criminal indictment. There's almost zero chance of not getting at least one left leaning jury nullifier who gets past the selection process and is tenacious enough to hang the jury. More likely there are 4 to 6.

This is actually the biggest sign our country's in trouble, to me, that whether or not you will now be found guilty of a crime rests not on the facts in the case but the location of the crime and the prevailing politics of the local "peers".

McIver's as guilty as sin and an example needs to be set or others will resist officers like she did - yet I have serious doubts about her case (which starts in 2-3 weeks).
