Taking a Loss

Last week we received a decision in the Georgia Court of Appeals for our most important case - and we took an unexpected loss.

Odd as it may sound, I am more confident than ever we are going to win and we are going to obtain the answers we seek. I won’t be dropping the case or walking away.

The Appeals court made a pretty obvious error, one that we have filed a Motion for Reconsideration to try to fix.

Absent a solution, we are going to take this fight to the Georgia Supreme Court, and we are going to win.

It’s funny, I was never some big advocate for government transparency. Even the Snowden disclosures, I barely paid any attention to them at the time.

Durham is done and nobody is talking about Russiagate. But we didn’t get all the answers and that necessitates a private citizen paying tens of thousands of dollars to go fight for documents and answers that we should have already had. It’s not some big conspiracy idea, it’s about getting basic facts out there.

I’m disgusted by it all.

There is a real problem here, and it takes a bare minimum amount of looking to see it.

We will have a final resolution in the Appeals court soon. If we need to go to the Supreme Court or file another lawsuit, I might suspend things here on the site for awhile.

If we get a favorable ruling, we are going to have a ton to cover and I may recruit a few people to help - as I will have some obvious conflicts.
