About a year ago, I noticed that Manos Antonakakis had an additional certification or training in APT-28 related research (Fancy Bear). Obviously that has played into my research and plays a role in why he would’ve been associated with the DNC hack investigation.
Tonight, courtesy of @TheAndersPaul, we have another glimpse into the “via DARPA” nature of Antonakakis’ relationship to law enforcement.
I’ve stayed out of the COVID discussion as it isn’t a primary interest of mine, but I would like to raise a few points on this email.
First, it seems to demonstrate how this comes together, DARPA is involved in the conversation but the research might’ve originated with Antonakakis.
Next, I would point out that APT-28 research is apparently a focus of Antonakakis’ work. I can’t attest to the validity of his allegations here (we don’t have the underlying email yet), but clearly, let’s just take it as another signal that he works in this area.
Then we look at the personnel involved. Learning Delynn Hammell is a APT 28 program manager for the FBI is important because Hammell worked the DNC hack investigation. Other names are familiar too, including PJ Myers and Jason Ruehle.
So we can revisit some of our documents, and just pulling out one example, we can look at exhibit 147 of the Sussmann trial where they are asking for all the documents on the DNC hack:
There’s Delynn, clearly involved in the investigation. Leaves us to wonder if their work for Mueller was conducted in a similar manner.
Thought this was notable enough for a quick write-up.
If and when my Twitter account @UndeadFOIA is unbanned (I’ve been wondering if I’ll show up in the Twitter files, I never did anything to merit a ban), I will probably return to the platform.
Until then, I’ll remain on the sidelines looking like this guy:
Positive updates and more coming soon.
If you're unbanned from Twitter at some point, please try to unban me. Thanks. I read just about everything from the current and former "this corner of Twitter." So well informed and I have all of you to thank. My friends come to me for information.
You weren’t lying. Busy. Great stacks.
