In anticipation that the Durham annex will be released today or tomorrow, wanted to offer some additional thoughts.
For those hyping the report as showing evidence of a damning conspiracy, that may be overstating things a bit. Beyond what we reported in March and April, people may be in for a bit of a let down.
Our reports will be validated. If there is one soft point in our reports, it’s the date of the Palmieri-Bernardo email suggesting this plan to have the FBI “amplify” their allegations. I expected my source to date the email to July 2016, consistent with the Clinton Plan Intelligence. Instead, they offered March 2016, something we pushed back on and solicited more information on over a period of weeks. That point of confusion could be the Renteria email (which also included Bernardo) which dates to March 2016, or…our sources will be proven right.
We grinded out these stories, agonized over them for months. To get them, we had to do it the old fashioned way (hiding in the bushes, jumping out and forming friendships).
From what I understand, this Palmieri-Bernardo email is what everyone had been referencing in recent days, but those suggesting the FBI was in on it, again, might be overstating things a bit. That the FBI ultimately did exactly what Clinton wanted is a massive scandal, but there is unlikely to be evidence of that in the annex.
We also need to learn more about the briefing on the Clinton Plan Intelligence and whether this specific email was included or noted.
Like a broken record, we will also highlight the need to review the DNC hack to see just how brazen this conspiracy was.
I think the March timeframe makes more sense than a July timeframe for a strategic plan. I think they wanted to run against Trump (Biden’s remarks in December 2015 about Hillary beating Trump)
July 12, 2015 (few days before Trump came down the escalator)
“So, unless the Kremlin’s America-watchers believe Bernie Sanders or Rand Paul will win the 2016 election, waiting for the next president looks like a bad bet. And it’s a bad bet that Putin has made before — and lost.”
