New: Shocking From Taibbi

Tonight, Matt Taibbi posted an email that scares me quite honestly. I’ve had a couple Twitter accounts banned with no explanation and I’ve suspected that I will show up in the Twitter files, but instead some of my friends did.

10. Lenzi wrote to Twitter bluntly asking to remove 14 accounts distinguished among other things by skepticism of Russiagate: “The below are some Russian controlled accounts that I think you will want to look into and delete.”

I personally know 15poundstogo - that is FOIAFan who played a crucial role in teaching me about FOIA. He is an extremely kind and generous American and has never posted anything remotely pro-Russian.

But here we see an official with the State Department asking Twitter to destroy his account.

Likewise, Guccifer2Henry and Spicy Noodles are established members of the “corner” I speak to often. They are Americans, not Russians. They are absolutely real people and real accounts.

I do not speak to ThunderStrzok1, but I am familiar with their account and I have never seen anything “pro-Russian” or suggestive of being a bot, or a Russian government controlled account. RussiaHackSite is another account I am familiar with, and to my knowledge, all I have seen are factual tweets on Russiagate - though I don’t follow that particular account.

This is quite shocking to me, because I can say 3-4 of these accounts were probably only flagged because they tweeted or re-tweeted items on Russiagate. Maybe some Hunter Biden stuff around that time. That’s it.

This Russia “expert” in the State Department says without a shred of evidence that the Russian government controls these accounts?

This is information warfare, and nothing less. They didn’t like what these accounts said so they made up an excuse to try to have their accounts destroyed.

How many other accounts of our Twitter corner have been flagged?
