It's about to get busy

I’ve provided a few updates here recently, I think everyone here pretty much gets what I am working on.

There are periods of high activity with alot of FOIA requests coming back, and periods where things are a bit slower. It’s been a little slower over the last month.

We previously filed a lawsuit against the Department of Defense to compel compliance with FOIA laws surrounding a FOIA request concerning Angelos Keromytis. Today I heard back from the Assistant US Attorney, and we are beginning to work out a production schedule.

I can’t make promises on when that will be processed, but, I have been told they hope to have it completed by the end of August. That request is for any emails to or from: Rodney Joffe, David Dagon, April Lorenzen, Glenn Simpson or Gary Gensler for 2016 through most of 2018.

I can’t make promises over how good the content in that FOIA might be. I know Dr. Keromytis has a long history with Matt Blaze and Steven Bellovin, two guys referenced in some public reporting around the alfa bank allegations.

I also know he was in contact with Rodney Joffe, David Dagon and Manos Antonakakis during the 2016 period. As head of the Enhanced Attribution program at DARPA, he seems like a good account to request documents from.

Also, as I have begun hinting at on social media over the last few days…I have another lawsuit pending. I consider it much bigger and more important than my FOIA lawsuit against the Department of Defense. I don’t want to get into the details until I know it’s been filed. Fair enough?

I have hired an outstanding lawyer, who has been at the forefront of litigating Georgia’s Open Records law, including at the Georgia Supreme Court. I feel good about the case.

It doesn’t feel good to ask for donations (I set up a donations page for FOIA litigation), but I try to keep in mind…there is no personal benefit here. People are free to donate or not of their own volition. I am not getting anything back, I am making an honest effort to bring some truth to light.

I am also considering additional lawsuits for documents. A few would be similarly significant as this pending action. A few others might be closer to my Pro Se suit vs. the DOD.

I have 58 paid subscribers at the time of this writing. You guys are awesome, and it’s a big help for day-to-day sleuthing. I hope nobody gets the impression that I am getting rich off of anyone, I am considerably in the hole, even before paying an initial five figure retainer fee this morning. A couple people complained about me posting a donation link on Truth Social, and that really bothered me.

I have a bunch of FOIA’s coming back soon (outside the government agencies which are so slow) so there will be some interesting reading ahead.
