Callout for FOIA's
Two states have irksome FOIA laws, Alabama and Virginia. You need to be a resident of either state in order to put in FOIA’s.
I would ask someone, ANYONE, who happens to be a resident of either state to put in FOIA’s for the following matters:
Virginia:
To the Virginia Beach FOIA office
Request any emails in the account of Virginia Beach mayor Will Sessoms sent to or from:
Rodney Joffe
Victor Oppleman
Sasha Oppleman
Raymond Saulino
For the period of January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2018.
Alabama:
To the AG/state police FOIA personnel
Request any reports, memorandums, or referrals relating to Mikey Dickerson, Renee DiResta, or Jonathon Morgan relating to “Project Birmingham”, or fake Russian twitter bots in the 2017 Senate election.

Va Beach FOIA showed up. Only has invites & replies to the Goodgirls Write Code although there are some interesting intl firms that seem to have an ongoing relationship w/Sessoms. How would you like me to convey the pdf to you?
I'll volunteer for the Virginia FOIA. Is there any special language I should use or just the information you've provided above? Today I was reviewing the VA 2021 Post-Election report from the Dept of Elections. They mentioned the unprecedented number of FOIA's that were requested re: the election process last year: "2021 saw a dramatic increase in FOIA requests and election observers... many localities were concerned that they were not going to have time or resources to successfully conduct the election due to the volume of FOIA requests. The sheer volume of requests led ELECT to quickly create & deploy election-specific FOIA training. Fortunately, the requests slowed by the start of absentee voting 45 days prior to the election." No word or summary as to the nature of the FOIAs. Maybe I should FOIA them about that.....
